It was the perfect follow! We met on Instagram over 5 years ago, and who knew we would be each other's biggest fans?! We were admirers from a far, as we were in two different phases of life at the time. We remained in each other's hearts and minds. It was not until almost a year later that we decided to make it official, and have been inseparable ever since.

It was a beautiful ending to a tropical vacation. Two days before our depart to return home from a luxurious vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the two of us reserved a romantic dinner at the resort. The first night we were alone just the two of us. We were under a pergola next to the ocean, enjoying a delicious 5 star Italian dinner. The lights were low, there was live saxophone music playing, wine and dessert - it could not have been a more perfect evening. Hugo was filled with questions about our lives moving forward together. Little did I know that the day before, he had asked his father to find a ring that he planned to present that night. As dinner ended, he held both my hands and walked around the table to my side. I expected a hug, but instead he kneeled before me and presented a ring. As he knelt there he asked me to marry him, and I responded with, "ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME!"
