Our story

Fun fact: Greg and I used to date- around 13 years ago. He was just as wonderful then, as he is today; the man I have the honor of marrying. We parted ways back then- he says I ghosted him, but I say he didn’t put that same effort in getting to know each other as he did this time (and look where it landed us). Fast forward to 2020- when my sister was in town, we went out and I seen Greg out as well downtown. My sister went back with RaeLyn, and I stayed out because of Greg. Moments after, we were side by side carrying on conversations. He later informed me he was supposed to leave with his friends but stayed out to reconnect with me. (Cue in “hurricane” by Luke Combs). Life is busy, my schedule is always insane with RaeLyn, but Greg did not give up. He stayed very persistent and would get ahold of me to take me out and continue to create conversation. His persistency was admirable and landed us where we are today. Greg proposed 06/24/2024 while we were in Tennessee near the waterfalls and creeks. Along came our two beautiful twins (Sterling and Sutton) to make our family of 5. Greg has stepped in as such a positive influence to my first born, RaeLyn, and we couldn’t be more grateful for how much he stepped into a father role long before having the twins. He told me I was the one that got away those years ago, as he was mine I let go (now to cue in “perfect duet” by Ed Sheeran) we found our way back together and can have our forever. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter in our lives with our closest friends and family. We hope to see you all there and join us in our forever.
