FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 8th to allow us time to make final arrangements and plan accordingly with vendors.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. We kindly ask guests to please refrain from wearing jeans. Dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for ladies, and dress shirts with slacks or suits for gentlemen are perfect choices. Our wedding colors are emerald green, black, and burgundy, so feel free to coordinate with that palette if you’d like — though it’s not required.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all the little ones in our lives, but due to limited venue capacity, we’re only able to extend invitations to immediate family and members of the wedding party who have children. We hope you understand that this decision allows us to celebrate comfortably with our closest loved ones. Additionally, please note that the reception music will not be child-friendly, so we kindly ask that other guests make arrangements for a kid-free evening.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited venue capacity and our wish to celebrate with our closest loved ones, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If a plus one was included for you, their name will be noted on your invitation and will also appear on your RSVP page.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 3:00 PM for our 3:30 PM ceremony. This gives you time for parking, finding your seat, and enjoying the prelude music. We’ll begin promptly at 3:30 PM, and we kindly ask everyone to be seated by 3:20 PM so there’s no interruption for the processional.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for — truly, gifts are not required. We’ve been blessed with a home and everything we need to fill it, so instead, we’ve created a honeymoon fund and a college fund for Amelia, both of which are listed on our registry page for anyone who wishes to contribute.
