The Wedding Website of Tori Spivey and Dylan Larson-Konar
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The Welcome Drinks + Desserts on Friday night dress code is cocktail attire. The Wedding Ceremony + Reception on Saturday is black tie.

Question

What is black tie?

Answer

For our wedding, we kindly request black tie attire. For women, a floor-length gown is the preferred choice. Please avoid white, champagne, or off-white colors. For men, a tuxedo is the preferred choice.

Question

What is cocktail attire?

Answer

For women, cocktail dresses in various lengths (knee-length, midi, etc.), stylish jumpsuits, or dressy separates are appropriate. For men, suits or blazers paired with dress pants with tie are all suitable options.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have limited space for our celebrations and simply can’t accommodate all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask all other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Can guests bring their children to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is a strictly adults-only event. We hope you can still join us for the celebration and enjoy a well-deserved night off!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and immediate cocktail hour will be held outdoors at the Denver Botanic Gardens in the Romantic Garden and Welcome Garden respectively. The reception will be held inside in Mitchell Hall. Denver is beautiful in September - think late summer rather than fall - but keep an eye on the weather when you pack!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Don’t worry—our photographer will make sure all the best moments are captured, and we’ll share them with you afterward!
