Tori had just moved to Arizona from Mississippi and her roommate was out of town for the weekend. She found a group of girls to go out with and explore her new city! Dondre was in Arizona for a bachelor trip and it just so happened that we ended up at the same bar on Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona. Tori saw Dondre from across the bar and knew it was time to shoot her shot. She made her way over to him and one thing led to another- we spent the whole weekend together! When it was time for Dondre to head back to Kentucky, we knew we didn’t want it to end there. Tori and Dondre spent the next four months getting to know each other over late night FaceTime calls and out of state visits. Dondre flew Tori out for a wedding in Kentucky, they both traveled to Mississippi State for a weekend to catch a football game, and then Dondre flew out to Colorado to meet Tori’s family over Christmas before Dondre finally moved to Arizona at the end of 2019. After four months of long distance, we had finally made it- 6 years later, we are celebrating forever together!
