Lets go back to the time when hanging out in a high school parking lot was the place to be on a Saturday night. Just kidding, I can't make this sound any better than what it really is. Charles was skateboarding. I was dancing. We played some basketball. Just two kids who met in a parking lot and we've had our eye on one another ever since. Hahaha

It was New Year's Eve and Charles and I were going to one of our favorite restaurants in Indianapolis (Rick's Cafe Boatyard) to celebrate. I remember being so bummed that night while getting ready because I had been waiting on a proposal all year and I just knew it wasn't going to happen. Little did I know, Charles planned to propose to me that night. We were called to the dance floor and danced to Millionaire by Chris Stapleton and I could tell by the look Charles was giving me (and his shakiness), that something was up. After the song, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever! Simple, but yet so sweet and special.
