HR would like to tell you that it's wrong to date inside the workplace. Tori and Atish would beg to differ. Tori and Atish met one another working at HUB Restaurant and Ice Creamery in downtown Tucson, Arizona. Atish had recently returned home, completely broke, from living in Los Angeles and Tori was recovering from a previous long-term relationship and finding her independence. Despite the two claiming to each of their friends that they were completely not interested in relationships, they couldn't seem to stay away from one another. For months the two engaged in primetime soap-esque, "will they, won't they," melodrama, neither willing to be fully vulnerable in admitting their feelings. Finally, Tori had enough and challenged Atish to take her on a first date. They both recount being exceptionally nervous, a feeling Atish likes to claim he never had around girls. The rest is, as they say, history. The couple immediately dove in head-first, moving in together after only 6 months. After nearly 4 years of happiness together, Atish knew he didn't want to spend his time with anyone else and proposed marriage. Both Tori and Atish are ecstatic to be marrying one another and are excited to share their momentous occasion with family and friends. We can't say that it always works out dating your coworkers, but in this case, it's hard to argue with the results.
