Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

All vehicles must be parked at the Launch at ICW (<2 minutes away) and we will have a shuttle running throughout the evening! Guests at the SpringHill Suites are still encouraged to park at the Launch due to the new traffic flow.

Why are the events of the day separated?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an intimate, private moment shared with our closest family, while our reception will be a joyous celebration that brings together all of our loved ones. This approach allows us to have a deeply personal exchange of vows, followed by a vibrant party where everyone can join in our happiness.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!

What happens if the weather isn't perfect?

Answer

Keep an eye on the forecast; we will have heaters if it is chilly, and fans if it is warm, but dress as appropriately as possible! In the event of rain, the tent should be sufficient to keep everyone safe, though we may get a little wet, and that's okay! If a major storm is anticipated, we will be updating everyone on this website as to what indoor venue we're headed for. The show will go on!

Are children invited?

We kindly ask that our ceremony be adults-only, with the exception of our ring bearer and flower girl. Children are welcome to join us at the reception, but we gently ask that parents remain mindful, as alcohol will be served and the celebration will take place on a lake. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.
