If you've never been to Punta Mita, welcome! Nestled along the Northern Point of Banderas Bay, Punta Mita is on the Pacific coast of Mexico's mainland, located in the state of Nayarit. Punta Mita is a quiet oasis of sun, ocean, and jungle, and is the perfect place to relax or celebrate with friends!

What is Punta Mita's weather like in July?

Answer

Because Mexico is in the Northern Hemisphere, July is part of their SUMMER season, and it will be HOT HOT HOT! Guests are encouraged to pack cool breezy attire, hats, sunglasses, etc. For the wedding itself, men are encouraged to wear linen suits, and women can wear sleeveless dresses with slits. July is also Mexico's rainy season, usually meaning quick afternoon showers, or overnight drizzles (similar to Florida). Although packing rain gear is not necessary, alternative ceremony / reception plans will be provided in the case of inclement weather.

What is there to do in Punta Mita?

Guests can enjoy swimming, surfing, lounging by the pool or beach, or relaxing in the sun! Guest staying in the Sussuros del Corazon have access to pickleball courts, a gym and spa, jetskis / surfboards / paddleboards rentals, and various pools and hottubs. Guests can also travel into the town of Punta Mita for meals, shopping, etc., or further outwards for additional excursions and activities

While children are certainly invited to accompany you during your stay, we kindly request a child free ceremony + reception.
