SENDING YOU GOOD VIBES!

The gym! Would you expect anything different from the two of us?! Tom joined CrossFit Harrisonburg in January 2017 and he caught Tori's eye in March of 2017. We met during an event at CFH at the end of March and soon Tom started working his way in with the 'competitive' crew at CFH that worked out in the back area of the gym. Who was in that competitive crew?! Tori, of course! Tom might not have been able to lift more than Tori then, but he has well surpassed her strength numbers now! We went on our first date on May 14, 2017 and five years later we are engaged!

Tom had planned to propose after he walked for his PhD on May 6, 2022, but later decided that he wanted to do it in the privacy of our own home. He decided to have a fire at the house since we had recently purchased a solo stove, but it was pouring down rain the night of May 4th. After we finished up dinner he quickly picked up the dishes and headed to the kitchen. There is a whiteboard we now use for our grocery list, but in the past we used to leave notes for each other on our fridge. He called Tori to the kitchen and asked why she wrote 'that' on the board and the board read Marry Me <3? He got down on one knee and of course, Tori said, "YES!"
