Hotel
You're welcome to stay wherever you'd like, but we recommend you book at the Castle Garden Lodge on the Island so you'll be close (walking distance) to castle festivities! Lodges are large (3 bedrooms/4bathrooms) so you may want to book with friends or family! Our special rate is €300 for one night, €500 for two nights, €700 for three nights. To reserve, please email Gillian at info@waterfordcastleresort.com and mention that you are attending the McGuinness Party to get our group party rate! Please book ASAP. Note: All of the rooms in the castle are reserved for our immediate family. The lodges are the only available accommodations for guests booking their stay on the Island.

Waterford Castle is a 90min drive from both the Dublin Airport and the Cork Airport.
Travel Note
In case you're looking for some fun places to continue your travels... Galway is where we celebrated our engagement in April of 2019! It's a 3hr drive from Waterford - however, we recommend you take the long route and spend time enjoying the drive around the Ring of Kerry and stopping at The Cliffs of Moher. We plan to make our way to Galway after Waterford, and though we will NOT be planning any official events, it would be great to meet with friends and family at the pubs in Galway! We'll definitely be there the 28th, but will keep this page posted as our travel plans finalize. Cheers!
