Tori and Ben first met in a DC 70s/80s retro bar back in May 2018. After quickly clearing up that Tori's last name was indeed Sharbaugh, not Harbaugh (Ben, a loyal Steelers fan, could of course not interact with anyone related to Raven's head coach John Harbaugh), the two instantly connected. From there, Tori and Ben have enjoyed many getaways, attended numerous concerts, pushed each other to hit new fitness PRs, ate more pasta than any human should ever consume, and witnessed the Washington Football Team (or whatever they might be known as in the future) miraculously end the Steelers 11-0 run to begin the 2020 season. In July 2021, the two decided to experience the remarkable Inn at Little Washington for an evening, and right before dinner in the breathtaking garden outside, Ben popped the question—and Tori said yes! Tori and Ben have a strong connection to DC. It's the place they met, the place they both went to school, the place where their families now live, and the place they have built their life together. Naturally, they can't imagine anywhere else to start the next step in their journey. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
