Victoria and Paula met on Hinge in the fall of 2022. Victoria initially liked Paula's photo, but didn't reach out at first because she was intimidated by how beautiful Paula was. Thus it was up to Paula to send the first "Hey" to Tor, who had a hilarious and clever profile. On their first date, they came to realize how easily conversation flows between them. They went to dinner, and by the time they looked up from each other, they found that the restaurant was closed and their waitress was waiting for them to leave. They decided to walk over to a bar for after-dinner drinks because neither was ready to end the night. They walked into the bar, sat in the back corner, and continued their conversation for hours without even getting up to buy drinks. From then on, these girls have been inseparable, and it was at that bar, Birdy's, in that back corner spot, that Paula asked Victoria to marry her almost three years later.
