We met at the very end of our freshman year of high school; though if you had asked Grace back then, she probably would’ve told you she did not see this coming. At first, she thought Tor was a little too persistent for someone she barely knew. But somehow, he kept showing up; cracking jokes, and slowly (very slowly) winning her over. One conversation turned into many, and before long, they went from teasing each other in the hallways to becoming best friends; and then something even better. Years later, it turns out that the girl who “definitely wasn’t interested” is now marrying her high school sweetheart. Life is funny like that, and we wouldn’t change a thing.
