Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you respond with your plans either online at our website, or by paper RSVP card (to be included in invitations), by May 3, 2025.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to have everyone dressed up and feeling their best! As such, in consideration of our venue style and event times, adhering to a cocktail and/or semi-formal dress code would be appreciated. Nigerian celebration attire is also welcome!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that in order to start our ceremony promptly by 4:30 p.m., please arrive to the venue starting at 4 p.m.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Please note that our venue does have on-site parking for up to 60 cars. We will also be providing shuttle transportation for guests to and from the designated hotels.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Please be advised that we have arranged for a shuttle to take our guests to and from our designated hotels (Hilton and Crowne Plaza) to the venue. As such, please also advise in your RSVP as to whether you would like to utilize our shuttle services.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please be advised that in order to keep our celebration intimate, only specifically named guests are invited to our wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, please be advised that our wedding will be limited to specifically named guests, in order to allow our guests to relax for the evening and fully enjoy the celebration!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When you submit your RSVP, please advise us of any food allergies/dietary restrictions so that our caterer may make those accommodations for you.

What will be served for the reception dinner?

Answer

We have the pleasure of serving the following: SERVED SALAD: Traditional Caesar Salad Chopped Romaine Lettuce, Fresh Shaved Parmesan, Housemade Croutons, Creamy Caesar Dressing (V) DUAL ENTREE: Lemon Seared Halibut Blistered Shishito and Red Grape Relish (GF) Braised Beef Short Rib Thyme Sautéed Portobello Mushrooms, Gorgonzola, Cabernet Demi Glaze (GF) Served with White Cheddar and Cracked Pink Peppercorn Mashed Potatoes (GF/V) and Parmesan Crusted Asparagus. VEGETARIAN OPTION: Texas Grilled Cauliflower Steak Black Bean Purée, Corn Avocado Salad, Pickled Red Onion, Cilantro Mojo (GF/VG) *Please be aware that our dual entrée will be our meal for all guests. However, as previously stated, please advise us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Based on certain responses, we may assume certain guests will require the vegetarian option, or we will modify our dual entrée for guests in order to accommodate their restrictions. Please let us know when you RSVP if you or anyone in your party would prefer to have the vegetarian option, or let us know of any allergies/dietary restrictions that would require modification of the dual entrée option. What is the Transportation Shuttle Schedule?

Answer

Pre-Ceremony/Guest Arrival to Venue: 3:35 p.m. : Shuttle will arrive and pick up guests at the Crowne Plaza. 3:50 p.m. : Shuttle will arrive and pick up guests at the Hilton-Harrisburg. 4:15 p.m. : Shuttle will arrive to King Mansion to drop off guests for the ceremony. Reception Conclusion/Guest Departure from Venue: 9:30 p.m. : First shuttle departure to Hilton-Harrisburg and Crowne Plaza, as necessary. 10:45 p.m. : Final shuttle departure to Hilton-Harrisburg and Crowne Plaza.
