Bridesmaid Bio: Lauren Emily and Lauren met at Clarkson University in 2012 during a girls’ night at Delta Zeta over winter break. At the time, Lauren was on co-op, but the two quickly hit it off and became fast friends. Over the past 12 years, Lauren has been an incredible friend, roommate, and travel partner. From adventures near and far, Lauren has been by Emily’s side through so many memories. Now, living in Colonial Beach, VA with her partner, John-Luke, Lauren continues to bring her warm heart, loyalty, and sense of adventure to every chapter of life.

Joe Toolen, James’s older brother, has been by his side since the day he was born. Growing up, Joe wasn’t just a brother; he was a role model, always offering guidance, support, and a steady hand. No matter the circumstances, Joe has always been there for James, even when James wasn’t necessarily in the right. Their bond is built on years of loyalty, trust, and shared experiences. Joe lives in Summit, NJ with his wife Rose and son Miles.

Emily and Kayla’s friendship began in the basement of Beta Tau during a night out in college. Their bond grew even stronger while navigating the challenges of physical therapy school together. Now, their friendship has evolved to include more “adult” activities, like enjoying craft beer (no more Natural Light) and celebrating life’s milestones. Kayla now lives in Ballston Spa, NY with her boyfriend, Kevin. Her loyalty, protectiveness, and constant support have made her an irreplaceable part of Emily’s life.

Vin and James have been best friends since preschool, and they've been through just about everything together. Their bond really kicked off while playing soccer, and from there, it only grew stronger. James became a regular at the Opalewski’s Friday pizza night, crashing it every week like he was part of the family. Through it all, Vin has always had James’s back. Vin lives in Hoboken, NJ with his wife Marguerite.

Emily and Danielle’s friendship began in 2012 when Emily joined Delta Zeta sorority at Clarkson University. The two quickly bonded over long study sessions in the library and more relaxed afternoons at Ebens, sharing a big beer and unwinding from the stresses of college life. Their friendship deepened even further during physical therapy school, where they lived together and navigated some of the most challenging — and rewarding — years of their lives. Danielle now lives in Palm Bay, FL with her husband, DJ, and their son, Graham. Through it all, Danielle’s unwavering support, humor, and strength have made her a true friend and an essential part of Emily’s journey.

Steve and James grew up just down the street from each other, so it was pretty much inevitable they’d become best friends. Steve’s been tagging along on every trip home with Emily, officially earning his title as the third wheel. Over the years, he’s proven to be one of James’ most reliable friends. Whether it’s dropping everything to help out or just showing up for a good time, Steve’s the kind of friend you can always count on. Steve lives in Raleigh, NC.

Emily and Christine’s friendship began in 2011 when they met as roommates on Brooks 2 at Clarkson University. From that first year, they were inseparable, living together all four years of college and staying close ever since. Over the years, they’ve ironically ended up living in NY, FL, and MA at the same time, a testament to their strong bond and shared experiences. Today, Christine lives in Gap, PA with her husband, Austin, and their daughter, Alice. Christine’s support, humor, and genuine friendship have made her a constant and cherished presence in Emily’s life.

Paulie and James have known each other since preschool. Like his friendship with Vin, their bond started on the soccer field and carried over to ice hockey. Paulie and James also went to Clarkson together and roomed together their first year. Through it all, Paulie has always been there for James. Paul lives in Denville, NJ with his wife Sara.

Emily and Danielle’s friendship began in 2019 after a first “date” in Salem, MA, thanks to Bumble BFF. From that moment on, the two have been inseparable, consistently hanging out and even starting a trivia team called “Bumble BFFs.” Always up for last-minute drinks, concerts, or spontaneous adventures, Danni’s easygoing and adventurous spirit has made her a true partner-in-crime. She now lives in Beverly, MA, and continues to be a source of fun, laughter, and unwavering support in Emily’s life.

Dan (AKA Dan the Man) met James within the first month at Clarkson. They both joined the same fraternity and quickly created countless memories together. Dan became one of James’s best friends, always up for grabbing a big beer at Ebens or hitting the golf course. No matter the situation, Dan has always been there to share laughs and have a great time. Dan lives in Worcester, MA with his wife Keighty.

Bridesmaid Bio: Isabella Emily and Isabella first met as children, but due to a four-year age gap, they didn’t become close friends until 2018. Their friendship started at Maxfields in Potsdam, NY, where they both attended school. Since then, they’ve stayed close, and they now live in Massachusetts together. There is only a 17-mile distance between them which unfortunately means a 1 hour drive— very different from their days in Malone! Isabella now lives in Quincy, MA. Her warmth, loyalty, and infectious laughter have made her a cherished friend in Emily’s life.

James and Louie met during the first few weeks at Clarkson, and it didn’t take long for them to bond over their shared love of competition. Their rivalry quickly turned into a winning partnership, with the two of them dominating more than a few beer pong tournaments along the way. They lived together for three years at Clarkson and even shared the same major, making their time there even more memorable. Louie lives in Washington, DC with his fiancé Sidney.

Emily and Rose first met in 2018 at a Toolen family BBQ, but their bond quickly grew into a friendship that goes far beyond just being future relatives. Whether bonding over shared laughs, family gatherings, or just getting to know one another better, Rose has become someone Emily admires and feels lucky to have in her life. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor make her a natural addition to this special day. Rose lives in Summit, NJ with her husband Joe and son Miles.
Taylor Friant

James and Taylor met while rushing their fraternity, and even though Taylor was a grade ahead, they hit it off right away. Both in the same major, they ended up working closely together on the fraternity e-board, which is where their friendship really took off. Despite James’ best (and questionable) efforts to get Taylor arrested while he was president, Taylor somehow always managed to stay out of trouble. Instead, they spent countless awesome nights making memories they’ll never forget. Taylor lives in Sackets Harbor, NY with his wife Lauren and daughter Charlotte.
