FAQs

If you have questions other than what is listed here, please reach out to either Allison or Eric.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - the dress code is semi-formal attire (black preferred). In staying with our wedding theme, we kindly encourage our guests to dress in black attire. We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! But no need to go full on black-tie glamour. Ladies feel free to wear black cocktail, midi or long dresses or a jumpsuit. Gentlemen we recommend a suit and tie or button down shirt and dress pants. A white shirt and black tie is perfect or even a white or black collared shirt and nice black or even gray pants. No jeans please. And don't forget to put on your dancing shoes!

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by Saturday April 26, 2025. Just use the RSVP tab on this website. If we do not get your RSVP by this date, it will be marked as "unable to attend.”

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be so missed! However, we understand there may be many reasons you aren’t able to join us. We just ask that you kindly RSVP "will not attend" as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones dearly, we are unable to accommodate additional children outside of those in the wedding and close family. This was not an easy decision for us to make, but we sincerely appreciate your understanding. We hope you will still be able to celebrate with us and encourage you to use the evening as a date night!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. If you've received a plus one, it will appear with your name when you RSVP through the website. Please reach out with any questions.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events. However, there will be a shuttle to and from the venue available for guests staying at the Avid Hotel that is included with your room booking. The Hotel at Kirkwood Center may also have a complimentary shuttle depending upon availability, so we recommend contacting the front desk in advance to schedule this.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is onsite parking at the venue for guests. If the lot fills, cars can park on the street but there is no driving or parking on grass. We recommend taking as few cars as possible. We want you to have a fun and safe night at our wedding, so if you need to leave your car overnight please do! All vehicles will just need to be picked up and moved off of the property by 10am the next day.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can begin arriving at 3:30pm. We ask that you not arrive any earlier than this, but still give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both, if the weather permits! The ceremony will be held outdoor on the covered patio. The cocktail hour will also be outdoor in the courtyard area with high top tables, fire pits, putting greens and yard games! The reception will move indoors but you will still have access to the outdoor areas.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We would absolutely love our guests to document the day from their POV! We only ask that you refrain from photos during the ceremony, as our wonderful photographers will be capturing that moment. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you'd like!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Enjoy a complimentary drink selection with a cash bar available for any other drink choices.
