Question

Where is the ceremony and where should we park?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at the Sunday River Bridge (the Artisans Bridge), Newry ME. The bridge is a 10 minute drive from our reception venue (1888 Wedding Barn) and should be findable on most GPS apps as "Sunday River Bridge". Driving is the best way to get there, but parking is limited to the road side, so its best to car pool if possible.

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive at the Sunday River Bridge by between 4pm-4.15pm in order to be seated for a 4.30pm ceremony.

Where is the reception

Answer

After we say our "I do's" please head to the 1888 Wedding Barn (164 Maryville Road (Route 2), Bethel, ME 04217), which is a 10 minute drive from the ceremony site and there is ample parking onsite. There will be a cocktail reception at 5pm, we ask you to be be seated for dinner at 6pm and we'll be partying until 11pm!

What should we wear?

Answer

Cocktail - We know that you are going to look great, but we also want you to be comfortable and dressed for a Maine summer evening. Ladies, although we will be indoors, consider a scarf or wrap if the evening cools. Gents, suit, a jacket, no jacket, they all work!

What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?

Answer

The dinner will be buffet style, which will include a selection of gluten and dairy friendly options. If you have other specific concerns, please reach out to Scott at 617 901 9691.

Do you have a registry?

We have had this question many times and thank you for asking. Although this site does have a registry page, we have everything we need for our home and do not have a registry.
