We’re married!

Our story started in 2011 at St. Edward High School, meeting during the spring musical. We remained friends throughout our time there, but lost touch after graduating. Little did we know that our love for being onstage would bring us back together...

Fate pushed us to both audition last minute for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2014. We rekindled our high school friendship, but could not ignore the feelings we had for one another.

We had planned a winery weekend trip with friends up in Finger Lakes, NY. After a litany of roadblocks- accidental Lyft rides to Detroit, stubbornness, and muted speaker phones- a ring was purchased and parental approval was received. The question was popped in front of some of out closest friends on the dock of the house we were staying in on a crisp Saturday morning. The day was spent celebrating with wine (lots of wine!), gifts, and laughs. It was a perfect day.
