Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

Saturday July 8, 2023 at 4pm.

Question

Where is the wedding going to be held?

Answer

The Landing at Estes Park is located at 1774 CO-66, Estes Park, CO 80517.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside on the grass next to the Big Thompson River. Immediately following the ceremony, we will have cocktails & appetizers provided on the patio. Around 5:30 or 6pm, guests will head inside to the reception venue for dinner & a party!

Question

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can begin arriving around 3:30pm to the venue.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wear what makes you feel at your best & comfortable! Ladies - Colorado in general is not the best place for stiletto shoes. Please note there is grass and gravel in certain parts of the venue, so choose footwear accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Yes! Please feel free to bring your kids or a plus one to the wedding. We ask that you make note of everyone's names and dinner selection on the RSVP you return to us.

Question

Will there be parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The parking lot for The Landing is on the smaller side, but we have overflow parking available to everyone across the street.

Question

What type of food & drink will be available?

Answer

We will be providing passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner & desserts. There will also be an open bar of wine & beer selection for guests.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We all know Colorado is notorious for everchanging weather, so we will do our very best to provide any relevant information possible in advance regarding weather. Estes Park is a small mountain town that is known for having short showers during the day that clear up quickly. It's best to be prepared for any type of weather! Here are some data points for reference, although may not provide any realistic predictability regarding the weather we will experience. The weather on this date for the last 4 years: July 8, 2019 = 81 hi, 79 lo and no precipitation; July 8, 2020 = 96 hi, 57 lo with some early evening wind (23 mph max) and no precipitation; July 8, 2021 = 101 hi (record), 58 lo with some afternoon and early evening wind (30 mph max) and no precipitation; July 8, 2022 = 95 hi, 59 lo with some afternoon wind (18 mph max) and no precipitation. While it can get warm during the day, it cools off rapidly. Our midwestern & east coast friends & family will be happy to know that there isn't much humidity! Fingers are crossed for perfect weather!

Question

We are not renting a car. What are our options for getting around?

Answer

We have reserved a shuttle through Estes Park Shuttle. More information about pickup times can be found on the Travel & Lodging tab on this website. *Important Note! Do NOT expect rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.) to be available in the Estes Park area.*

Question

What is there to do around Estes Park?

Answer

Lots of things like hiking, fishing, shopping, and more! Please navigate to the "Things To Do" tab to find some provided ideas to help get you familiar with food, drink, and activity options in the area.

Question

Anything else we should know?

Answer

Estes Park has an elevation of 7,500 ft. Altitude can affect certain individuals more than others, but our best piece of advice is to HYDRATE!
