Travel Note
Lamego is about 1.5 - 2 hrs from PORTO Options: CAR: The easiest and most flexable option. The drive is scenic and well worth it. TRAIN: Trains run from Porto to the Douro Valley. From there, a short taxi or transfer will get you to Lamego. PRIVATE TRANSFER: Comfortable and stress free, especially if your travelling with a luggage or a group. WEDDING and WELCOME DINNER - Shuttles will be provided for the events, so once your in the area, we've got you covered. LISBON is about 3.5 - 4 hrs from Lamego Options: FLIGHTS: Fly from Lisbon to Porto, then continue to Lamego by car, train, or transfer. CAR: A longer drive, but a great option if you'd like to explore along the way. TRAIN: Trains connect Lisbon to northern Portugal; from there, continue on toward Lamego by local train or taxi. *Lamego is a small, charming, and very walkable once you arrive - but getting there takes a bit of planning.
