Lariat Lodge Brewing Company
This place is great! Good food and drink options! Nice outdoor seating area as well. Proximity to the hotels nearby: 1-minute walk from the Holiday Inn. 8-minute walk from Hampton Inn & Suites (where we have the hotel block and shuttle reserved). 10-minute walk from Homewood Suites.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Red Rocks is a 15 min. drive from the wedding venue and a 25 min. drive from downtown Denver. If you have not visited the venue previously, we highly recommend making the trip!
Brewery Hopping in RiNo (River North) Art District in downtown Denver
If you are interested in trying out different beers while you are in Denver, make a stop in the RiNo neighborhood in downtown Denver. Make your way to First Draft Brewery to start and then you can walk to 10 Barrel Brewing, Our Mutual Friend Brewing, Ratio Beerworks, Odell Brewing Company, Epic Brewing Company, 14er Brewing & Beer Garden, and River North Brewery. Further down the road, you will find Great Divide, Mockery Brewing, and Blue Moon. Infinite Monkey Theorem is also worth a visit!
Lookout Mountain Park
Easy to get to and incredible views! Great for pictures!
Larimer Square
Cute street in downtown Denver with boutiques, restaurants, and bars!
St Mary's Glacier
A beautiful and moderately easy hike just outside of Denver. The drive is roughly 1 hr. from downtown Denver.
Brainard Lake Hike
A 1 hr. 20 min. drive from downtown Denver. This hike is absolutely gorgeous and worth the trip! Moose sightings happen fairly often at this location.
Ouzel Falls via Wild Basin Trail
This hike is full of beautiful waterfalls!
Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center
Absolutely stunning! If you go, try to go early or late in the day to avoid crowds.
Molly Brown House Museum
The Molly Brown House Museum is a house located at 1340 Pennsylvania Street in Denver, that was the home of American philanthropist, activist, and socialite Margaret Brown. Brown was known as "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" because she survived the sinking of the RMS Titanic. *Fun fact -- Tony & I used to live right next door above Subculture!
Avery Brewing Company
Our favorite brewery is located just outside of Boulder, CO. Great food and ambiance! You can walk above where they brew the beer whenever you would like during open business hours. Tony's favorite beer from here is George Washington's Porter which was made from George's original recipe! Stopping by Pearl St. in downtown Boulder is also worth a visit.
