FAQs

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

YES. We want your babies there. That is our preference :) But we also totally understand if you want to make it a parent's trip! We wanted you to have the choice.

Question

Do we have to stay the whole weekend?

Answer

No, of course not. But we chose to have a destination wedding so that we can spend as much time with our favorite people as possible in one our favorite places. There will be plenty to do Thursday night through Saturday night.

Question

What airport do we fly into?

Answer

ECP, Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City Beach, located about 30 minutes away. Another solid option is Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), located about 40–45 miles west.

Question

Should we rent a car?

Answer

This is totally up to you. Seaside is very walkable! The Welcome Party and Ceremony/Reception are well within walking distance should you stay in Seaside. If you choose another beach town, such as Rosemary or Alys, you will want a car. Ubers are available as well as car services. We will not provide any transportation. From experience, electric bikes are a blast! Also, depending where you rent, you may have access to a golf cart. Be aware, golf carts are not allowed in Seaside neighborhoods.

Question

Where do we stay?

Answer

There are 2 choices listed under the travel section. We also recommend looking at AirBnB, VRBO, and other property management companies to find a rental suited for your needs!

Question

What is the weekend attire?

Answer

Welcome Party: Coastal chic / elevated beach casual. Think polished but relaxed — linen, breezy dresses, button-downs, and attire fit for cocktails by the ocean. Wedding Ceremony: Black Tie Formal. Gentlemen are welcome to wear a tuxedo, though a black suit with a black tie is perfectly appropriate. Ladies, think elegant dresses or gowns. For the remainder of the weekend, pack your favorite beachwear, swimsuits, and resort casual looks. While days are typically warm and sunny, late October evenings on the coast can get chilly, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater for nights by the water. Don't forget your beach essentials like sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.

Question

What time should I arrive to ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts promptly at 4:30, in which doors will be closed and no one can enter after ceremony starts. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early.
