The Wedding Website of Tony Smith, II and Kenyatta Ballenger
Introducing our stars and supporting cast

Kenyatta Camille Ballenger

Bride

I would have NEVER thought I would meet someone so loving, supportive and caring let alone come in such a large package. I didn't think there was a person out in the world willing to deal with my goofiness, my indecisiveness, and my shut downs. Then God sent this gentle giant to love me and my flaws, support through good and bad, and push me past my tiny limitations to/and encourage me to think past my wildest dreams. I could never have hand picked this human being and I'm glad God did it for me. He is imperfectly perfect for me!

Tony Lamont Smith, II

Groom

We never know why we are put in the positions that we are. We can plan for life and certain mishaps

Heather Hernandez-Ayala

Maid of Honor

The love of dance is what brought Heather & I to become friends. We were introduced by a mutual friend that use to model & dance with her at the same company. She was so confident in herself and that made me want to get to know her. Dance practices turned into spending the night hanging out, then club hopping once we turned 18, to babysitting each others kids. This woman is a super mom of 4, she wears her heart on her sleeve and will lovingly tell you how wrong you are but will also help you get on the right track. Heather, you are an amazing person, inside & out. Thanks for putting up with my goofiness! -Yatta

Perman Monts

Groomsman

Over the past 4 years Big Perm and I have been on some adventures, literally lol. Initially linked by our passion for security, we found several other common interests and it's been solid ever since. His hustle inspires me, and as business partners we do everything we can to be providers for our families. Recently we were blessed to be able to vacation together with our families and the experience was amazing. I'm grateful for my brother in the trenches. -Tony

Marquita Smith

Bridesmaid

This gorgeous self-made woman is someone I have looked up to for years! In addition to holding a corporate job, she operates her own make up beauty bar. Watching her grown into her own has been a pleasure and I am blessed to have such a powerful black woman as one of my core best friends. I love you, sis! -Yatta

SSG Tremayne Bunkley

Groomsman

This guy and I go back to 6th grade and he’s been the same size ever since lol. It had been some years when we reunited in high school, but since then I can honestly say that Tremayne is one friend I never go to long without talking to. We may not speak or see each other as often as we like but he has always been that same loyal friend that will always give you the best advice possible because at the end of the day he just wants to see you doing good. Where we’re from in Orlando we call him “Grandpa” cause he was the wise and dependable one out of the group. I’m honored to have had such friend watching my back for so long. -Tony

Khadijah Bryant

Bridesmaid

The only sibling I have, the person who has my first middle name as her second middle name, the sister I love, & the goofball that dances with me in Wal-Mart until we cry with laughter: Khadijah. -Yatta-

David Jackson

Groomsman

Before i met Kenyatta and she "domesticated" me as David loves to say, we were still finding our paths as young adults, and I think it's fair to say that the big guy has been my closest partner in crime lol. He lost his mother right after high school and mine had moved overseas, along with our cousin Stacey we formed a band of brothers. In a since we were all we had and even through all our antics my brother has never failed me when I needed him. -Tony

Dekilo Achilles Lipkins

Escort of the Bride

This handsome peanut butter child is my first born son, Dekilo. He is 10, likes math, and loves to play laser tag. He is truly becoming a preteen, dealing with feelings for girls but he always pushes for people to do the right thing. He is such a sweet heart and I pray it stays that way. -Mommy

Bryce Lewis Jones

Ring Bearer

This chocolate kid is my second born son, Bryce. He has truly given us a run for our money so to speak. He challenges us, has very slick remarks to everything & will flat out ask anything that is on his mind. I pray he stays so curious so he can grow to be a well rounded adult. -Mommy

Ayanna Jade Lynette Foster

Flower Girl

This lovely little "Chocolate Drop" as i like to call her, is the daughter of my first cousin and one of the sweetest little people you will ever meet. If you know me you know im iffy about little babies but i actually held this one not long after she popped. I love her smile --Tony

Lorri Kendall

Mother of the Bride

To the person that gave birth to me, she smiles through all her trails, faces her mistakes and looks towards the future with great eagerness. My mother, Lorrie. -Yatta-

Meggan Ballenger Cooper

Mother of the Bride

The youngest sister to my father, the mother that raised me, & the aunt that spoiled my boys: Meggan (with 2 g's lol ). -Yatta-

Anita Foster Smith

Mother of the Groom

Never afraid to tell me the truth, you often wear the hats of both my biggest supporter and critic; always in search of the best me possible. I truly love you for that. Thank you for all that you do day in and day out for our family. -Toodles

Elder Tony Lamont Smith, Sr

Father of the Groom

In the era of some many boys growing up without a father I always had you in my ear. And lord knows more often than not I hated it, but today I really couldn’t love you more for it. The life lessons you taught me helped make me the man and father I am. Thanks for everything. -Tony
