The dress code for the wedding is formal/black tie optional. Tuxedos and floor length gowns welcome (and encouraged!), but dark suits and elegant dresses are also perfect.
The Raven seal and inscription are inspired by the original Rees family crest and wax seal, which dates back to 1541 Wales. The raven, long a symbol of wisdom, strength, and resilience, holds deep meaning within the family’s legacy. The crest bears the Latin motto 'spes melioris aevi, spes tutissima coelis' which translates to 'the hope of a better age, the safest hope is Heaven' As we begin this new chapter, we loved the idea of paying tribute to the generations who came before us by honoring their legacy while building something new together.
