WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

For men, formal attire often means donning a tuxedo or dark suit paired with a white dress shirt, a conservative tie or bow tie but not required, and dress shoes. Typical women's formal attire translates to wearing floor-length gowns or elegant cocktail dresses with sophisticated heels or flats. We do ask that you please dress in modest attire out of respect for the reverence of the sacrament (avoiding revealing or short clothing). Thank you!

¿CUÁL ES EL CÓDIGO DE VESTIMENTA?

Para los hombres, la vestimenta formal suele implicar ponerse un esmoquin o un traje oscuro combinado con una camisa blanca de vestir, una corbata o pajarita discreta (aunque no es obligatorio) y zapatos de vestir. La vestimenta formal típica de las mujeres se traduce en usar vestidos largos hasta el suelo o elegantes vestidos de cóctel con sofisticados tacones o zapatos bajos. Le pedimos que se vista con ropa modesta por respeto a la reverencia del sacramento (evitando ropa reveladora o corta). ¡Gracias!

Our ceremony will unplugged as we have paid professionals to capture our special day, so please power down your phones during this time. Feel free to take photos after the ceremony.

Due to guest number restrictions, we are only able to extend the invite to the children of close family/or our wedding party. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children.

Please buy them as soon as you can as prices go up closer to our wedding date. If you are traveling from another country, you must fly into La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City.

We recommend to exchange your dollars in Banks in Antigua Guatemala or in the Currency-exchange office at the airport. · ATMs are available in most of the hotels or all over Antigua Guatemala. Some places accept dollars cash but you may get a better deal by paying in quetzals. · Credit cards are accepted in hotels and restaurants. · The Currency may vary by the time of your visit but approximately is: Quetzal (Q) Q8.00 = US$1

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN NOVEMBER?

Guatemala is called the land of the eternal spring, meaning there's good weather most of the year. November is a great month to visit Guatemala, the climate is comfortable and the temperature normally varies between 14°C to 24°C (57°F to 75°F). Expect bright blue skies. It cools down in the night, so bring a light jacket.

HOW DO I GET AROUND ANTIGUA?

Answer

The best way to get to feel Antigua's culture, art and history is by foot. We recommend that you pack comfortable shoes to walk Antigua's cobblestone streets like a local. For non walkable destinations you're good to use Uber or three wheel taxis, also known as “Tuc Tuc”.
