We took a trip to Utah to visit Zion National Park, and after a rainy, exhausting hike, we finally made it back to our cabin tired and soaked. But Tony rushed me to get ready fast for a dinner date in town. After an hour of chaos and fighting with a dress that would not zip, we finally got in the car.
I thought we were headed to dinner… until Tony started driving off-road in the complete opposite direction. I was confused, but I trusted him (and my sense of direction is terrible, I had no room to question his).
Then a random woman appeared signaling us to stop, and I knew something was up… but I still didn’t expect it was THAT. Tony had shown no signs at all — or so I thought.
What I didn’t know was that this “dinner date” detour was leading to one of the most beautiful moments of my life. In the middle of the Utah scenery, Tony asked me to marry him.
