FAQs

Question

Can I attend the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is for immediate family only. We want to keep it simple, but look forward to seeing you at the open house!

Question

Hey, we really, REALLY want to give you two a gift! Where is the registry?

Answer

Your generosity means the world to us. In lieu of gifts, we kindly ask that you donate to our VIRTUAL Food Drive. You can make donations on line at this link (copy and paste to browser): https://sandiegofoodbank.donorsupport.co/-/NGZPDMUU?member=SSAVETVV OR mail donations to: Virtual Food Drive San Diego Food Bank 9850 Distribution Ave San Diego, CA 92121 (write "Cheryl Pammer and Tony Streano Wedding" on the check so our drive gets credit!) If you wish, you can also bring non-perishable food items to support our collection for the San Diego Food Bank. Together, we can help make a meaningful difference in our community (please, no homemade goods, glass containers or alcohol).

Question

The open house is going to be four hours... Do I need to stay for all of it?

Answer

Not at all! This is an open house-style reception, so feel free to come and go whenever it suits you. We’d love the chance to say hello and share a toast with you. There will be drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts throughout the afternoon, and toasts will happen at intervals — check the schedule if you’d like to raise a glass with us. It’s a festive time of year, and we’re excited to celebrate our new beginning with you.

Question

Oh, what EVER should I wear??

Answer

Tony and Cheryl will be in their wedding attire, but you’re invited to come as you are — comfy, casual, or festive. No dress code, just good vibes.

Question

I'm hungry! What's to eat?

Answer

We’ll have drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts available throughout the afternoon. Come hungry, come thirsty, or just come to toast with us.

Question

Will there be any formal moments?

Answer

We’ll be raising a glass at intervals during the event. If you’d like to join in a toast, check out the schedule when you arrive — or just follow the laughter and clinking glasses!

Question

If a tree falls in the woods, and there is no one around to hear it, does it still make a sound?

Answer

Um... Ok. Sound needs three things to exist: A source, a carrier and and a receiver. So, the source is the falling tree, the carrier is the air (compression waves), and the receiver? That would be your ear drums - or a squirrel's, deer's or skunk's eardrums. If there is absolutely nothing to hear that tree fall, we may have more problems than the sound of a falling tree. Since Cheryl let Tony keep this question in the FAQ, you can see why they belong together.
