Matron of Honor
Barb's my big sister and has led the family in everything. She will hold us all together on my big day! She has raised two wonderful children, Krista and Rusty (Martin), and is grandmother to five wonderful girls. She was an extremely successful real estate agent and helped the family enormously with college and home. She loves the Jersey shore and is owner of half a house there. . We all miss her husband Marty who died seven years ago. Barb has been the principal family member looking after our 100-year old Dad Ed Taylor, who resides in a skilled nursing facility. The doctors say we (and especially Barb) have kept him alive by good care. Bless you Barb!
Junior Bridesmaid
Emily is the oldest (11) of our three junior bridesmaids. She's the daughter of Bev's niece Krista Kondrath Selcher and her husband Scot. Emily is a talented gymnast (ask her to do a backflip) and loves music and the Selcher dog, Carson (Fly, Eagles, Fly)
Junior Bridesmaid
Cassidy Selcher, 9 years old, is also a daughter of Bev's niece, Krista Kondrath Selcher, and her husband Scot. Cassidy is immensely energetic and active, and excels at swimming-even the butterfly!
Junior Bridesmaids
Georgi, also 9, but a few months younger than Cassidy, is the youngest daughter of Bev's nephew and godson Martin "Rusty" Kondrath, and his wife Nikki Muntz. She has a great sense of humor and can be seen playing field hockey on lots of days.
Bev's escort down the aisle
Rusty is Bev's nephew and godson and the father, with his wife Nikki Muntz, of three wonderful daughters, Libby, Maggie and Georgi. He runs his own telemetric company called Triangulate, which helps those with heart implants. He is a busy father, basketball coach for Georgi (go Unicorns!), CEO and father/driver/mentor for Libby and Maggie. Because Bev's father, Edwin Taylor, age 100, will be watching from Philadelphia, Rusty will walk Bev down the aisle.
Officiant
David Susan has been a low bass who has sung with Beverly in the Choral Union at the University of Wisconsin for 24 years, and from time to time in Concert Choir or the Madison Symphony Chorus. He is a retired Lutheran minister, and an avid Bach fan, who works on translations from German and who has been a minister in Korea. He is husband to Shirley and father to three children.
Officiant
Rick Vanderhoff trained as a musician/singer/organist and librarian before becoming a Greek Orthodox minister. He is known locally as Father Michael. He has sung with Bev for over 15 years in the Choral Union at the UW, and has been informally adopted as her "little brother". She enjoys being his big sister, having not been one before. He's husband to Trish and "father" to several gorgeous Dachshunds as well as his congregation.
Best Man
Bruce and Tony became acquainted when he gave their daughter voice lessons; they became good friends, and he and his wife Mary and Tony attended Peace Lutheran Church in Osceola, Wisconsin. Bruce retired after years working for Andersen Windows in Bayport, Minnesota, where he introduced a number of innovations. He loves nature in all forms and spends a lot of time out in the woods.
Reader
Krista is Bev's niece, Barbara's daughter, Scot's Selcher's wife, and the mother of junior bridesmaids Emily and Cassidy. After years as a high school and college tennis star, she earned degrees in Physical Therapy and practiced a number of years in that field before turning to pharmaceutical sales. She still manages to work out at 5:30 AM every day and manage her busy working and home lives.
