Need-to-Knows

Question

Do I need a visa to enter India?

Answer

Yes. A visa is required to enter India, but is straight-forward to apply for! Invited guests that RSVP 'yes' will receive more information about applying. Visas may only be applied for 4 months in advance of your arrival. Additionally, an e-Arrival Card will have to be filled out no more than 3 days before your flight to India. The e-Arrival Card is not a visa, it is additional paperwork needed to enter India.

Question

What airline should I take?

Answer

Recommended airlines are Emirates, Etihad, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudia. ** Please note that a layover flight is required to reach Kerala, India, and it is important to check the layover time; a minimum layover time of 1hr 45mins is highly recommended. Anything less and you run the risk of missing your second flight! A typical total travel time should be no more than 25hrs when booking your ticket(s).**
