We met online and talked there for a while until she gave me her number and said she's not online that often. Our first time meeting was at Tower Grove Park with my son and her fur babies. We walked and talked for about 45 minutes and then parted ways. After more conversations I asked her out on a second date to Cafe Mochi for sushi on their patio. I knew I wanted to make this date special and I wanted to have her favorite flowers in her favorite colors. By the end of that date and endless laughing and sitting on Grand talking and people watching I knew she was the one. I wanted to make sure she knew I thought she was beautiful and very much interesting. When we were both home she texted and asked if I was her boo now. I said absolutely and then deleted all my online profiles. We never went into our relationship thinking what if, it was always when. She has been my sweetness and now she will be my sweetness forever.
The first time I offically met Tonya was at Tower Grove Park. On our first meeting I also met my son Kaiden and decided since we were at the park to bring my two dogs along too. We walked and walked. And talked and talked. After that day, we continued to get to know each other on a deeper level. It was important to me that I be with my best friend and she has become that and more since then. When we had our second date where we both knew to make it official. Tonya (my Lovie 💜) and Kaiden has been a prayer manifested. You know those prayers you don’t even say outloud? God is All over our relationship and I can’t wait to walk down that aisle and tie the knot. Salicia Shanell Bland-Black
