Can we take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

No. We are having an unplugged ceremony where phones will not be allowed. Please make sure your phone is off before the ceremony begins. There will be a photographer and videographer for the duration of the ceremony to capture the moment.

Do we have a wear any specific colors to the wedding?

Answer

No. we just ask that you do not wear white and come in semi-formal wear. No special colors needed.

What is the menu?

Answer

Everyone will be served a house salad as an appetizer with your choice of dressing. You will have a choice of 'marry me' chicken, 'marry me' salmon, or pot roast as your meat. The sides will be baked mac and cheese, collard greens, greens beans, and a roll. It will be served buffet style called by table.

What is "Marry Me" chicken/salmon?

Answer

It is chicken/salmon that is cooked in a cream sauce with garlic, parmesan cheese, and sundried tomatoes. It is so delicious that it makes you fall in love with the chef which is why it is called a 'marry me' sauce

Are there any gifts that you would like that are not on the registry?

Answer

No, but we will accept any financial gifts. We will be flying back after the wedding and cannot guarantee that we will be able to fly back with everything. If it is bought through the site, we can control when it ships to us.

Will there be any alcohol available during the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have a full bar available during the reception.

Where will the event take place?

Answer

The wedding will be at the Khalif Event Center which is located at 2000 E Wendover Ave. Greensboro, NC. There is plenty of parking available.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes, if they are 1 and over. We will have a videographer during the wedding ceremony, so we ask that you are mindful of if your child will be a disruption or not.
