Tonya and Jason met by chance in July of 2016. Jason, being his charismatic and gregarious self, prompted a conversation that neither of them imagined would last for hours. A conversation they both describe as being 'Great!" Tonya shares that Jason's ability to hold her attention and flash that undeniably handsome smile would not let her decline a subsequent invitation to dinner at Mama Zoe's, a quaint little restaurant with lots of ambience and great food. Jason on time, waited patiently for Tonya, who was, well, fashionably late. However, this did not dampen the evening. Their conversation picked right up where it left off. This second encounter also lasted for hours as they discovered they shared numerous commonalities. This date garnered the sentimental distinction of being anointed as their official first date. Jason shares that it required no effort to spend his time with Tonya because he found her beauty to be striking and appreciated the way she carried herself. Tonya matches Jason's adoration by saying she loved how certain he spoke about his family and church. Not long thereafter, the two became an official couple. In the middle of 2019, Jason planned a visit to a picturesque vineyard with Tonya. She was pleased and thought this was such a unique birthday gift. She had no expectation that Jason would raise the element of surprise with the ultimate reveal. Surrounded by close friends and a psalmist singing Tonya's favorite song, Jason kneeled before her and popped the question. Tonya's tear-filled, unhindered response of "YES" brings us here today ...to celebrate them. Tonya and Jason are indescribably overjoyed to share this sealing moment of lives with their family and close friends.
