Saint John’s Resort has a rich history that begins in the late 1940s when St. John’s Provincial Seminary opened its doors, paving the way for more than 40 years of memories and learning.
In 2021, William Pulte Family Management purchased The Inn at St. John's from the Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. 100% of profits from the resort go to The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation and are used to serve those most in need around the Metro Detroit area and the world. The late William Pulte worked closely with a small group of local business leaders and Cardinal Maida to finance and develop the former St. John’s Provincial Seminary campus into a hotel, conference center, and golf course.
The Pulte Family supports humanitarian initiatives led by nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. They are currently partnered with nearly 200 nonprofits in the United States and globally.
