Things To Do

Below are some of our favorite things to do, mixed in with some events that are happening the weekend of our wedding!
Baltimore by Baltimore Festival: Inner Harbor

Baltimore by Baltimore Festival: Inner Harbor

201 E Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21202

In honor of our nuptials, the city is throwing a free all-day festival on Saturday from 12-8 PM. There will be musicians and other performers, food trucks, and vendors in the inner harbor- right across the street from the wedding hotel!

Guardians vs. Orioles @ Camden Yards

Guardians vs. Orioles @ Camden Yards

The Cleveland Guardians are playing the Baltimore Orioles on our wedding weekend! If you want to catch a game there is one Friday at 7 PM or Sunday at 1:30. The Friday game will have fireworks (for our wedding I assume).

Basilica Of The Assumption

Basilica Of The Assumption

The Baltimore Basilica was the first Roman Catholic cathedral built in the United States. The Basilica is a ~20 minute walk from the Royal Sonesta Hotel. It is open for guided or self-guided tours (see website for schedule); there is Mass at 10 AM on Saturday (6/4), 8 AM and 10:45 AM on Sunday (6/5).

Floatilla Baltimore

A kayaking treasure hunt happening in the Baltimore harbor on Saturday morning - if you want to participate, register at the link (where you can also rent a kayak). Boat launch is at Canton Waterfront Park. If you just want to watch - the kayakers will be all over the harbor on Saturday between 9-12!

Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine

Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine

, (410) 962-4290

Fort McHenry is best known for its successful defense of the city during the famous Battle of Baltimore (War of 1812) that inspired Francis Scott Key to write “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Its also a beautiful place to walk around!

Federal Hill Park

Federal Hill Park

300 Warren Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230

Federal Hill Park is right nearby with amazing skyline views. You can head down to Rash field and follow the water for a nice walk around Baltimore's inner harbor.

Fells Point

Fells Point

Thames Street and South Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21231

Fells Point is a neighborhood in Baltimore with many great restaurants and bars! Some restaurants include: Thames Street Oyster House (great seafood), Bar Cocina (nice water views), the Choptank (nice outdoor seating). Stop in the Horse You Came In On Saloon or The Admiral's Cup for a cheap beer. Pitango Gelato is great for an after dinner treat!

For all the days along the way
