But, as fate would have it, their initial meeting was just a brief brush of shoulders in a sea of eager fighters. Fast forward a few years, and the universe decided it wasn't done playing matchmaker. Ginger, with her fiery spirit and passion for revolutionizing the animation industry, put out a call on Facebook for kindred spirits to join her cause. Little did she know, Jeff, her future partner-in-crime, was scrolling through his feed, ready to leap into action. Their conversation sparked a flame that couldn't be extinguished. They quickly discovered their shared love for oysters (a true aphrodisiac for the soul), a wicked sense of humor that could rival any stand-up comic, and a mutual appreciation for living life to the fullest. As life often does, it threw them a curveball when Ginger contemplated a return to her homeland of Thailand. But Jeff, with his unwavering support and adventurous spirit, was ready to explore any avenue to keep their connection alive - even if it meant relocating across the globe! Together, they dove headfirst into a whirlwind of collaborations, from ASIFA-South to Siggraph, their passion for their craft and each other fueling their endeavors. But when the world was brought to a standstill by the pandemic in 2020, their plans for a grand ceremony were put on hold. Instead, they opted for a humble courthouse union, a testament to their commitment in the face of uncertainty. And now, as the world begins to find its footing once more, Jeff and Ginger stand hand in hand, ready to embark on the next chapter of their journey together.
