Danny and I met one Sunday afternoon a couple blocks from my Brooklyn apartment. I was returning home from church and I saw him from a distance walking a dog and intended to ignore him. But as I passed by him, he asked me, "How was church today?" No one had asked me that before so I engaged in conversation with him. I went upstairs and got my dog Max and we walked and talked for about 30 minutes. There was something special about him. Since I was good with numbers, he gave me his phone number to memorize. I called him a few days later just to prove that I did remember his number. We had another good talk and began to get to know each other. Danny is such a funny man and he has a big heart. We always have a great time together. His loud and outgoing personality complements my quiet and calm demeanor. Our friendship quickly developed into a romantic courtship. Danny and I want the best for each other and we cannot wait to see what God has in store for us.
