what time should I arrive at the ceremony?

we suggest arriving ~15 minutes before the ceremony is set to begin (around 9:45am, please). we will start promptly at 10am.

how should i get from the meetinghouse to Parm (the cocktails & lunch location)?

note: we will share an email including all of this information so it's easily accessible on your phone. the meetinghouse is about ~20 minutes from Parm. if you prefer to go by car, please use toni and marco's Uber code that can be entered for a complimentary ride from the ceremony to the restaurant. you may use the link below to download or open the uber app and automatically add the voucher: https://r.uber.com/RWELBXGAWJH or simply enter the code into the Uber app. the code is "RWELBXGAWJH" or, if you prefer to go by train, the 4 train runs from Union Square to Fulton Street. From Fulton Street, it's about a 12 minute walk to lunch.

semi-formal is the dress code. suits and cocktail dresses are perfect (midi to long in length).

What is a Quaker marriage ceremony?
Answer
a Quaker marriage ceremony begins with silent worship, where guests reflect and can speak if moved to do so. the couple then shares their vows and signs the marriage certificate in front of the community. the focus is on simplicity and the connection between the couple and their guests. at the end, everyone is welcomed to sign the marriage certificate.

we chose a Quaker ceremony because of the focus on sincerity and connection; we felt it was a beautiful way to begin life together. toni also attended a Quaker boarding school, and both toni and marco have stayed close to that community.

some of our favorite festive spots are right in lower Manhattan, like the Union Square Holiday Market and Rolf's (Christmas themed bar). if you're up for a little exploring, check out the lights in Dyker Heights or see the Christmas tree & try ice skating in Rockefeller Center. if you have any questions, please text Marco (914-346-0679).
