What comes first, love? Yes, exactly! Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to tell you about a fairytale from nearly 5 years ago. This love story gets off to a rocky start. Kenny was invited to a church service at the House of David. Unfortunately, Kenny was just getting out of a relationship that had left him feeling distrustful. They first met in January 2017. On that special day, they exchanged phone numbers and became friends. When I say Toni made Kenny sweat, I mean it. Do you know how a man is supposed to pursue you? He had to run, walk, and leap to get her! For some reason, it just wasn't enough. It was as if she was on the lookout for the ideal man. Kenny used to say, a quote "If you choose me, you will never regret it.” Kenny decided to ask her out on their first date a month after they had gotten to know each other, and they had a lengthy conversation after that night. He was aware that he had discovered a gem, but she was blind to it. Let us just say she did not see it "yet". Kenny knew he had found his "wife”. There was a lot of back and forth, uncertainty, and questions. Kenny would always take her to "Townlake". Where they would spend the majority of their time there talking and planning. To think about it, some people have unexpected encounters with their loved ones. Their love story is a miracle because they wanted to give up so many times. They did not give up, however, because they realized they were meant to be together and that God orchestrated this relationship. They have not stopped smiling since, and they do not think they ever will. Toni is Kenny's favorite among all the wonderful things God has bestowed upon him. She rekindled his love for her! Toni adores him without a doubt! Let us say the effort was worthwhile! Ladies and gentlemen, that brings us to Part 2 of our fairytale.

Toni was proposed to in December of 2020. She believed that she was attending one of her best friends’ graduations dinner. Kenny picked up Toni that cold Saturday night. When she was in the car, she saw that he was sweating badly and acting very funny. She kept asking him if he was okay and he kept saying “yes”. When she got out of the car she walked into the restaurant. She saw all her close friends. The love of her life was on one knee with a diamond in his hand. She had nothing but joy in her heart. Her friends said their goodbyes after dinner. When she got back in the car Kenny blindfolded her. Kenny kept driving and Toni was very anxious. When he removed the blindfold, all she heard was “surprise”. Following her proposal, her parents hosted a surprise engagement party. With the company of loved ones, friends, and family.
