We are so excited to share this special day with you, as we begin our journey as “one”. We are so blessed to have a loving community that pushes us, encourages us, and loves us well, just as Christ loves His church. Thank you for being a part of our day.

Josiah and Toni met through a campus ministry at Penn State, Alliance Christian Fellowship. Initially, they met at a “Murder Mystery” themed-dinner, but they really got to know each other on a missions trip later that semester. That May, Josiah and Toni went on a missions trip to Peru, and hit it off! Throughout the following school year, Josiah and Toni spent a lot of time together at Websters, The Corner Room, and even went on a few adventures to New York, Grand Rapids, and Pittsburgh!

Throughout the winter, there were a few bumps in the road, and Josiah and Toni spent some time a part. During quarantine, Josiah and Toni had reconnected during an ACF Zoom, after being assigned to the same “breakout room” (Dan, the pastor, says the rooms were randomly assigned- we disagree). From there, the two connected and hung out during the summer of 2020.

In August 2020, Toni moved to Grand Rapids to complete her internship, and with that came a whole year of Facetiming, and flying to visit each other (mainly Josiah, lol!— 25 flights to be exact). Toni moved back to PA for grad school in May 2021, and they were reunited! On May 27th, 2021, Josiah and Toni went to the Ale House for dinner (one of Toni’s favorite spots in town), and took a little drive to Jo Hays Vista to watch the sunset. While they were sitting, Josiah and Toni began to reflect on their relationship, and Josiah got down on one knee to ask for Toni’s hand in marriage!
