We're getting married!

During the peak of COVID, Toni and his dad were out purchasing a microwave, however, after the first stop, Toni’s car broke down. While waiting for roadside assistance, Toni posted a photo of food he ordered on the car's trunk onto Snapchat. Joanna, who happened to be on Snapchat that day messaged Toni and said “Hey, is everything okay?”. Toni responded by letting her know that everything was okay and that he was just waiting for roadside assistance. It was at this moment, Joanna realized she didn’t know who he was or how they became friends on Snapchat. Thanks to Toni’s smooth moves, he landed a first date with Joanna. However, the day before the date, Joanna told him that she was “busy”. Well, everyone says that it's all about the chase, and that is exactly what Toni did. Remember those smooth moves previous mentioned, well, because of it, Toni managed to re-schedule their first date. The night before the date, Joanna called Toni during the late evening to “vet” him and wanted to make sure that he wasn’t crazy or anything. What was supposed to be a quick 10 - 15 minute phone call ended up turning into a 6 hour phone call. The first official date between Toni and Joanna was on July 20, 2020. The first several dates between Toni and Joanna were complicated because going out during COVID wasn’t the easiest thing to do. There were restrictions on basically everything. As such, the first several dates consisted of mainly picnics and walks at the park. After several dates and a lot of late night video calls, Toni finally got the courage to ask Joanna to be his girlfriend on October 10, 2020. From day trips to family trips, the next several years seemed to fly. On October 26, 2023, at Jane’s Carousel, Toni made the easiest decision of his life. He got down on one knee and looked at his future. We are so excited and can’t wait to share our special day with all of our family and friends! Cheers and we’ll see y’all real soon!
