When we first moved to Charlotte, we settled down in Uptown across the street from 4th Ward Park. The perfect landing spot for us coming from NYC. Totally charmed us with its history and serenity. We encourage you to take a long walk in the park, listen to the birds, look for Cardinals (NC state bird), enjoy the gardens and beautifully manicured historic homes, end up at Alexander Michaels for lunch or dinner, or both.
