Answer

Its October in Virginia! Hard to tell. It can be as hot as 80 but as cold as 50 degrees! Check the Weather closer to time to get a better prediction for Draper, VA.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Ceremony is at The Village Chapel while the reception is at The Draper Mercantile right across the street.

Question

Answer

Both will be indoors! The reception does have a nice porch/balcony so if the weather is nice bring a light jacket for the evening in case you want to extend the festivities out there as well.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around a hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. The Village shops will be open so please feel free to walk around, socialize and relax!

Parking is limited at the chapel, it is for those who cannot walk well, disabled and elderly. Plenty of parking is just across the street, where the reception will be held. Parking is free as well.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults and older children only (preferably 12+) event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving your small children at home so you can celebrate with us. Please know that the chapel is small, and infants and babies could easily make a disturbance during the ceremony.
