We first met on New Year's Eve when I accompanied my cousin to go pick up his friend "Big 12" from the Bronx. As soon as he opened the door, I thought to myself, "My, my what a handsome man." A huge smile flashed across his face which caused my heart to flutter. We returned to the apartment to watch Suicide Squad and toasted to a new year at the end of the movie. The next morning, I returned from grocery shopping only to find my family and Big 12 eating breakfast without me. I expressed my disappointment that they did not wait for me and stormed off in a fit of rage. A few minutes later I heard a knocking at my door and there he was with a huge smile on his face and breakfast in hand. Our eyes met, my heart melted and it was then that we saw what could be!

It was the night of New Year’s Eve and I had made plans to hang out with my best friend and Brother after not seeing him for a few years. He had told me that he was coming by the apartment to get me and that we would just chill at his Aunt’s home that he was visiting for the holiday. I was in agreement with the plan but little did I know that my life was about to change for the better. My friend arrived to the apartment accompanied by his beautiful cousin named Toni. The moment I opened the door and laid eyes on her it was like staring at one of Gods Angel's that he had sent to rescue me. I smiled politely as I introduced myself and kept it moving. After we had reached our destination, I discreetly pulled my friend aside and asked him how old his cousin was and if she would be interested in me. He revealed her age and stated that she was in fact single, and encouraged me to take a chance. It was at that point that I said no more, started planning my approach, and the rest was history.
