The Story and Divine Evolution of Our Union

It’s not your typical story and I shall tell you of story of our union. The story of us and the evolution of our relationship occurred on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Lava Cantina in The Colony, TX. It was at a Neo-Soul Sunday event that we first met, united by our shared appreciation of music and dance. Accompanied by my cousin and friends, I attended the event to bask in the relaxed atmosphere and enjoy some soulful R&B music after attending church service and partaking in a lovely Easter Brunch. As the event at Lava Cantina concluded on Resurrection Sunday, I was dancing solo to Usher's hit song "Bad Girl" when a tall, dark, and handsome gentleman approached me, took my hand, and kissed it sweet and gently, and we began dancing together. We then danced together, moving in perfect harmony, and synchronized effortlessly as if we had been together for years and we experienced a magical connection. The connection was instantaneous, and the chemistry was undeniable. It was a moment of divine providence, where God's plan brought us together. As two single Christians enjoying live music, Jesus saw fit to bless us with the gift of each other's presence. It was a beautiful display of God's love and compassion, a true answer to our prayers. During our dance, we made a point to introduce ourselves and break the ice with a pleasant exchange, which helped establish a sense of comfort. The encounter was somewhat unusual yet captivating, as we discovered an effortless ability to converse with each other despite being newly acquainted - the conversation was enjoyable and engaging. Upon finishing our dance, we continued our discussion and eventually exchanged contact information, marking the beginning of a lasting connection. The experience was akin to love at first sight, underscoring the significance of divine providence. God's deliberate placement of us in the same location at the same time facilitated our meeting. Although Jesus' resurrection on that blessed Easter Sunday was not directly related to our encounter, I firmly believe that it was integral to His holy plan and purpose to bring us together. As two single Christian individuals who shared a desire for meaningful relationships, we were blessed to have found each other. Jesus recognized that David was searching for his Ruth, just as I was waiting for my Boaz. Consequently, Jesus abundantly blessed us on that date, answering our prayers for companionship and genuine love from above. Subsequent to our initial encounter at Lava Cantina, we engaged in daily phone conversations, which facilitated a deeper understanding and connection between us. This, in turn, led to the planning of our first date, scheduled for Friday, April 14, 2025. We opted to meet at The Star in Frisco, where we dined at Mi Cocina, a restaurant celebrated for its delectable Mexican cuisine – a shared culinary interest. The ambiance, conversation, and overall atmosphere during dinner were flawless. We relished a wonderful evening of fine dining, wine, stimulating conversation, and laughter. As the evening unfolded, we discovered a mutual passion for music, prompting us to visit Concrete Cowboy, a hip-hop and R&B club within The Star complex. There, we indulged in the music and dancing, forging unforgettable memories. Our time together was truly exceptional. After dancing past 1:00 am, we took a leisurely stroll around The Star complex, continuing our conversation and holding hands beneath the moonlight. As our date drew to a close, we made plans to meet again the following day, marking the inception of our ongoing relationship. Reflecting on our journey, we have grown profoundly in love and eagerly anticipate our forthcoming wedding. We are truly grateful for God's unwavering, unconditional love, goodness, blessings and favor which is always present among us.

Faith, Hope & Love

One day, one minute, one hour, one second and over two years later, our love has blossomed beautifully and we are soon to be united in Holy matrimony. God's kindness and faithfulness is unwavering and God is Good - ALL THE TIME!!! And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE.
