Unfortunately, we are one of the many couples getting married that are affected by COVID-19. First and foremost, we are grateful for the health of our family, friends and ourselves. With that being our main priority, it does not make sense for us to move forward with our big wedding celebration. This is a heartbreaking decision, but not nearly as heartbreaking as the idea of putting our loved ones at risk. After over two years of planning for our wedding, we ultimately decided that we don’t want to wait any longer to get married, so we have chosen not to postpone and will still get married on 11/7 in a very private ceremony. In the future we would love to host a gathering so we can celebrate with the people we love, but for now we are looking forward to enjoying an intimate ceremony with our immediate family. Although this is not what we imagined for the day, we are still getting married and becoming husband and wife - which is what we've always dreamed of. We are so thankful for the love and support from everyone and we are very sad that we can't share this moment with you all. But, this just means we will have to celebrate twice as hard once we can finally be together. If you would like to watch our ceremony from home, please tune in for our virtual ceremony by clicking on the "Virtual Ceremony" tab. xx, Kelly and Michael
October 2013 - Met at 24 Hour Fitness. Can you guess who approached who first? October 2013 - Had our first date. Can you guess where? At 24 Hour Fitness, of course (ha!). We like to say our second date, at Sunset Cliffs, was really our first 'real' date. May 2016 - Left sunny San Diego and moved to San Francisco. September 2018 - Got engaged at Sunset Cliffs, where we had our first real date. November 2020 - Get married with all of our loved ones by our side!
