Hurry, hurry! They're hittin' thirty!

The two met during a student gathering on a night off from school at Columbus College. Jamie noticed John coolly leaning against his car, a slick Toyota Celica, and was taken right away. After meeting initially, they realized how much they had in common and that their paths had crossed years before at a restaurant in town. John and Jamie quickly fell into a romance, neither realizing that the next 30 years would be spent by one another's side. The marriage began on November 8th, 1990 and the rest is blissful history.

John sat across from Jamie in his Columbus apartment, rings in hand. Gently he set them on the table and slid them over to Jamie. She grasped the jewelry between her fingers and looked at John with a question on her face. "Don't lose them, they're my mother's." drawled out of John's mouth and realization struck her - he was proposing. Without hesitation, Jamie accepted John's offer and the two began the first of many long journeys together. Also, she lost the rings.
