There is a gap between the ceremony and the reception. What should we do?

Think of it as a brief afternoon layover! Our ceremony wraps up around noon, and the doors at The Schoolhouse Dallas will officially open for cocktail hour at 6:30 PM. This 5-hour window is the perfect opportunity to check into your hotel, grab a light lunch, or take a quick pre-party nap. Most importantly, it's the perfect time to change out of your daytime garden attire and change into your flashy, festive best for the reception! Get ready to pull out all the stops, because we want to see you shining on the dance floor.

What time should I arrive for the reception?

We recommend arriving right at 6:30 PM so you can head inside, grab a refreshing drink, enjoy some light bites, and settle in before the evening's festivities begin.

Is parking available at the venue?

We love your little ones, but the reception is adults-only. We respectfully ask that no children attend.  Thank you so much for your understanding!

Answer

Absolutely! Consider your phone your personal tourist camera for the day. You are more than welcome to capture all the memories and snaps you'd like during our ceremony. Don't forget to share your favorite shots with us later!
