FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding day dress code will be semi-formal cocktail attire. Guests are welcome to wear suits and ties, cocktail dresses (any hem length), jumpsuits, or any elegant attire that suits you.

Question

How do I get to the venues?

Answer

For both the ceremony and reception, you may drive or use rideshare/taxi—both venues are about 1.5 miles or a 15-minute ride from the Westin River North. If driving, see below for parking details.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

For the ceremony, free parking is available across from the church in the Immaculate Conception – St. Joseph school parking lot at 363 W Hill Street (note: the parish has two locations, so please use this address). Paid street parking is also available on Orleans Street near the church. There is a wedding after ours, so please be sure to move your car by 4:30pm. If you choose to drive the reception, Galleria Marchetti offers valet parking for $20 beginning at 4:45pm. Street parking is limited, so valet is recommended.

Question

Will other transportation be provided?

Answer

No group transportation will be provided. Fortunately, Chicago is well serviced by rideshare, taxis and public transit, and all events are within a couple miles of each other.

Question

Will any of the events be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both indoors with air conditioning. The cocktail hour from 6-7pm will be held outdoors, with an indoor backup plan.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better, but no later than Friday, June 12th so we can finalize arrangements.

Question

Are there things to do in the area?

Answer

Yes! Please see the Things to Do page on this website for local recommendations.
