As with many 9am classes sophomore year at Johns Hopkins, Rachel and Tom sat next to each other in Professor Ball's Monetary Analysis class. Rachel lived by her to-do lists and planner schedule, so Tom knew she couldn't say no to making plans on paper and reached over and added "5pm - Dinner WITH TOM! :)" And they've continued to eat many meals and even more snacks together ever since.

With a boarding pass to Knoxville and no idea why they were going to Tennessee of all places, Rachel was excited for one of Tom's fully planned trips to celebrate their 8th anniversary. After stopping for their first hike in the Great Smoky Mountains, they stopped for a picture to capture the beauty. Conveniently, there was a fellow tourist nearby capturing the morning fog, so Rachel asked for a photo on her phone.
